This 8-way system provides reliable cueing between a central control position (typically DSM or stage management) and multiple outstations around the venue. Each station features a clear, simple signalling workflow:

  • Flashing Red – Standby
  • Acknowledge Button – Operator confirms standby, switching to steady red
  • Green – Go cue

For added flexibility, the system also includes an amber indicator, which can be triggered from the outstation after acknowledging standby. While the primary acknowledge function converts flashing red to steady red, the amber light provides a simple way to signal back to the DSM if there’s an issue or a need to hold the cue – for example, indicating “stand by, not ready yet” without requiring additional comms.
