Based on the amplification concept of the successful FIFTY LINE system, the FORTY LINE system offers high sound pressure levels with professional audio quality. Compact cabinet measurements, and lightweight enclosures, make the FORTY LINE the perfect choice for professional public address systems.

Useful for most sophisticated applications, the FORTY LINE is easy to handle, small in size and totally portable. The basic set consists of two QL15 active subwoofers and two passive QL12 tops. The QL15 subwoofer is a solid bass-reflex subwoofer with a highly stressable 15″ woofer with a 3″ voice coil. The 3-channel amplifier, which is integrated in the QL15, provides 500watt/RMS for the internal 15″ and 200+400 watt/RMS for the top unit.

A digital processor, which handles the active frequency crossover, also has an integrated time and phase correction unit, active EQ unit, and extensive protective circuitry, which ensures perfect sound reproduction and the safe operation of the power amplifier stages at all times. The QL12 top uses a 12″ mid woofer and a 1″ driver with a pure titanium diaphragm.
All speaker components are designed by dBTechnologies and are produced under the highest quality criteria. The specially designed HF-horn offers a wide and clear dispersion (90°x60°). As a result of these selective measurements utilizing high-class components and superior assembly processes, together with active separation and delay adjustment, the QL12 top reaches a sound pressure level of up to 128dB of crystal clear sound. A high frequency boost switch is incorporated to adapt the high frequencies to a particular acoustical environment when required.

If additional Bass SPL is required, for example during open-air performances, the basic FORTY LINE System may be extended by two QL 152 subwoofers. Due to its multi-chamber band-pass construction and the two efficient 15″ woofers, the QL152 subwoofer, which is powered by the integrated 800watt/RMS Class-H amplifier, supplies an incredible 134dB, ranging from 40-90 Hz. All amplifiers of the FORTY LINE system are equipped with powercon mains connectors with loop through. The internal temperature controlled fan and all amplifiers are protected by a dust filter. The enclosures are made of multiplex, coated with a robust lacquer in Cobalt Blue. The subwoofer features mounting points for a trolley, and the top features a flange for a stand and three M10 threaded fly points. Due to their optimized position, the threaded fly points automatically offer an inclination of 20°.

The QL15 subwoofer has a compartment built in to accommodate the mains cable and the 4-core speaker cable to connect to the QL12 top unit. Mains cable and the interconnecting cable for the QL12 are included with the QL15.

If additional Bass SPL is required, for example during open-air performances, the basic FORTY LINE System may be enlarged with the addition of 2 QL 152 subwoofers

Given the fact that the frequency response of the QL15 is reduced to the frequency range of 90 – 200 Hz, not only is the bass sound reflection much more powerful, the low mids profit too! Due to its multi-chamber band-pass construction and the 2 efficient 15″ woofers, the QL152 subwoofer, which is powered by the integrated 800watt/RMS Class-H amplifier, supplies an incredible 134dB in the frequency range of 40-90 Hz.

Mono 70/100 V Amplifier – 200 Watts The Extron XTRA™ Series XPA 2001 is a half rack 1U, convection cooled power amplifier delivering 200 watts into a 70 volt or 100 volt line. This professional grade amplifier features a 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio with less than 0.1% THD+N. The XPA 2001 is an Ecofficient Level 3 amplifier with an Extron exclusive, highly efficient, advanced Class D amplifier design. It also features patented CDRS™ – Class D Ripple Suppression technology that provides a smooth, clean audio waveform and an improvement in signal fidelity over conventional Class D amplifiers. The XPA 2001 is housed in a half rack width metal enclosure, conserving rack space and weighing only 2.5 lbs (1.1 kg). The Extron exclusive, high efficiency design generates very little heat and allows the amplifier to be convection cooled. Energy Efficient Amplifier with Auto Power-Down The XPA 2001 amplifier is an Ecofficient Level 3 product that conserves energy and reduces costs. With an auto power-down feature that automatically places the amplifier into standby after 25 minutes of inactivity, it consumes just 10 watts when idle and less than 1 watt in standby mode. The XPA 2001 is housed in a compact 1U, half rack width enclosure. This amplifier is UL 2043 plenum rated when used with the optional Flexible Conduit Adapter Kit, allowing for a concealed installation above a drop ceiling to prevent theft while providing convenient placement of AV equipment. The XPA 2001 delivers 200 watts rms for high impedance speaker systems in voice reinforcement and distributed audio applications. The XPA 2001 is available in 70 volt and 100 volt models. Meets Ecofficient Level 3 — Includes an automatic standby mode that provides industry-leading power conservation, with standard amplifiers consuming as little as one watt and network amplifiers consuming as little as four watts when in standby. Professional grade signal-to-noise and THD+N performance — The XPA 2001 delivers professional grade performance with 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio and THD+N of less than 0.1%. Extron Patented CDRS™ – Class D Ripple Suppression — CDRS is an Extron Patented technology that provides a smooth, clean audio waveform and an improvement in signal fidelity over conventional Class D amplifier designs. CDRS eliminates the high frequency switching ripple characteristic of Class D amplifiers, a source of RF emissions which can interfere with sensitive AV equipment such as wireless microphones. Convection cooled, fanless operation — The XPA 2001 does not require internal fans or vents for cooling, ensuring quiet, reliable operation. It generates substantially less heat than conventional power amplifiers, making it ideal for rack-mount applications. Ultra low inrush current – no need for power sequencing — Allows multiple XTRA Series amplifiers to be powered on simultaneously without overloading power circuits. This eliminates the need for power sequencing. Power factor correction – removes harmonic content on AC line — The XPA 2001 features power factor correction technology that smoothes out the high peak currents of the amplifier’s current draw, thus minimizing the presence of high frequency harmonics on the AC power line, and therefore preventing audible artifacts from being transmitted to other audio equipment in the system. Rack-mountable 1U, half rack width enclosure — The XPA 2001 reduces rack space requirements for many installations. UL 2043 plenum rated when used with optional Flexible Conduit Adapter Kit — The XPA 2001 meets UL 2043 for smoke and heat release for installation within a plenum airspace above a drop ceiling when used with the optional Flexible Conduit Adapter Kit, part # 70-228-02. Above-the-ceiling placement conceals the amplifier to prevent theft, and is convenient for installing equipment when space inside the room is limited. Auto power-down with fast power-up — The XPA 2001 meets Ecofficient Level 3 requirements with an auto power-down feature that automatically places the amplifier into standby after 25 minutes of inactivity, dramatically reducing power consumption. It quickly returns to full power status in less than one second upon signal detection. Rear panel recessed, detented level control — Provides attenuation of input signals for adjusting audio system gain staging. Key Features Mackie SRM450 V2 Loudspeaker 2-way, Bi-Amplified Active PA Speaker High-Output Precision Titanium Compression Driver 300W class-D, Fast Recovery LF amp/100W HF Amp Built-in Protection Circuitry for Longer Life The Mackie SRM450 version 2 delivers live sound that sounds like it should. With the SRM Series Portable Active Loudspeakers, Mackie include the technology to help you focus completely on your performance instead of being distracted by constant EQ and level tweaks. Many portable loudspeakers produce lows that lack substance but the SRM450 V2 delivers astonishingly deep and defined bass frequencies, outperforming the original SRM450, which was renowned for its ability to deliver real low-down sound. That's thanks to the SRM450 V2's Servo Feedback technology combined with its all-new neodymium woofer and 3-inch voice coil. The SRM450 V2 employs reliable protection circuitry, a built-in limiter for less distortion at peak levels, and an automatic sliding high pass filter to give you that little bit extra volume when the crowd demands more. Thanks to the advanced technology of its power supply and Class-D amp topology, the SRM450 V2 is greater than 90 percent efficient, so more of the power from your outlet goes straight to the transducer, without the power supply and amp giving off loads of heat. Less heat means better performance, and longer life. The QL15 subwoofer is a solid bass-reflex subwoofer with a highly stressable 15" woofer with a 3" voice coil. The 3-channel amplifier, which is integrated in the QL15, provides 500watt/RMS for the internal 15" and 200+400 watt/RMS for the top unit. A digital processor, which handles the active frequency crossover, also has an integrated time and phase correction unit, active EQ unit, and extensive protective circuitry, which ensures perfect sound reproduction and the safe operation of the power amplifier stages at all times. The QL12 top uses a 12" mid woofer and a 1" driver with a pure titanium diaphragm. Due to its multi-chamber band-pass construction and the two efficient 15" woofers, the QL152 subwoofer, which is powered by the integrated 800watt/RMS Class-H amplifier, supplies an incredible 134dB, ranging from 40-90 Hz. If additional Bass SPL is required, for example during open-air performances, the basic FORTY LINE System may be enlarged with the addition of 2 QL 152 subwoofers Given the fact that the frequency response of the QL15 is reduced to the frequency range of 90 – 200 Hz, not only is the bass sound reflection much more powerful, the low mids profit too! Due to its multi-chamber band-pass construction and the 2 efficient 15" woofers, the QL152 subwoofer, which is powered by the integrated 800watt/RMS Class-H amplifier, supplies an incredible 134dB in the frequency range of 40-90 Hz.
