Summer Shindig 2026 – What a show. What a night.

We’re still buzzing! Summer Shindig 2026 was an absolutely epic night, and Sonic Sound was proud to deliver the full production from top to bottom – a huge operation, and one of the biggest shows in our calendar.

A Full-Scale Production

This was everything a concert should be. We fielded a team of five engineers to run the show and brought in the full works: sound, lighting, confetti, smoke and haze. Around 80 lighting units went into the rig, transforming a sold-out Trull Memorial Hall into a proper concert venue.

The Technical Package

On the audio side we supplied a full front-of-house PA, ten ways of wireless in-ear monitoring, four foldback wedges, and everything else that goes into staging a live concert. With that many performers on stage – including some special guests on trumpet and sax for a few numbers – getting the monitoring right was key, and our engineers kept every mix tight all night long.

A Sold-Out Success

Playing to a completely sold-out room, the atmosphere was on another level from the very first act, and the crowd brought the energy right through to the confetti-filled finale. Best of all, the night raised just under £2,000 for The Trull Players – exactly what events like this are all about.
