We were proud to support Wellington Arts Association (WAA) with their production of Shrek The Musical at The Wellesley in Wellington – a big, colourful show that called for a serious technical package.

Sonic Sound provided the mixing desk and full stage infrastructure, built around an Allen & Heath SQ5 console and AR2412 stage box, along with all the cabling required to tie it together – including a 75m four-way EtherCon drum, XLR and power looms. On top of the audio side, we supplied band microphones, cue lights, wireless uplighters and Fusion 200 Zoom Spots to give the production the polished, professional look and sound a musical of this scale deserves.

Musical theatre is one of our favourite things to be involved in, and it was fantastic to help WAA bring the world of Shrek to the Wellington stage.
